It’s a new year, and I’m so ready for it! But since last year was also great, I felt that I should say goodbye to it in style. To do so, I created a New Year’s tablescape that celebrated the prior year while also ushering in a new chapter. Here’s how I styled my table for the big day.

This year, I said farewell to 2015 with some sparkly gold accents. I went to HomeGoods to find the perfect accents for my table.

Gold reminds me of abundance and success, and because both are things I’m hoping to accomplish during the new year, I surrounded myself with the color.

Although my table’s main color was gold, to keep it balanced I added some browns (in the centerpiece) and natural details with the napkin decorations. As you can see, the tablecloth from HomeGoods has some gold accents, but because they’re sublime, the tablecloth can be reused for other occasions. The napkins (my favorite find from HomeGoods) have some gold designs that go perfect with the tablecloth and the plates.

I hope you liked my golden tablescape design, and that you have a wonderful New Year!
